Fresh off the factory floor, Unit One is complete!

What an exhilarating moment. A fully assembled, working carbon battery made from coconuts and salt water. How cool is that?!

Years of research, engineering, 'spirited' debates, seemingly impossible problems, and an incalculable amount of determination went into building this thing. And snacks. An unreasonable amount of snacks.

Unit One is our first full-size carbon battery. Non-flammable, modular, stackable, and built from some of the most abundant materials on Earth. A fundamentally different approach to storing electricity, designed to make dependable energy available at any scale larger than 10kWh. (not pocket-sized).

We couldn't be prouder of the Capy crew, and none of this would have been possible without those who believed in the vision long before there was something to stand on.
