CapyBara Energy was awarded the Massachusetts Manufacturing Innovation Initiative (M2I2) to support the construction and commissioning of its first production facility.

The award supports equipment procurement, manufacturing process development, and workforce enablement for domestic production of modular grid-scale energy storage systems. The facility is designed to support early commercial deployments, pilot-scale production, and continued manufacturing scale-up.

This investment accelerates CapyBara Energy’s transition from prototype development to repeatable, production-ready manufacturing, strengthening in-state supply chains and advanced manufacturing capability.
