CapyBara Energy was featured at the U.S. Department of Energy’s booth, highlighting its selection by the DOE’s LIFTOFF program to deploy a grid-tied energy storage system aimed at enhancing power resilience for critical site operations. The project integrates a 1 MWh storage system with on-site generation to ensure continuous, reliable power for remediation activities in a constrained grid environment, maintaining operations during instability and supporting long-duration needs of essential infrastructure. This deployment demonstrates CapyBara Energy’s technology in promoting infrastructure resilience and operational continuity, advancing readiness for both utility and industrial applications. Miguel Talamantez, electromechanical engineer, and Matthew Millard, founder and CEO, represented the company.
